My problem is that I love to research everything and I haven't yet found one that meets all our needs. I have always wanted to belong to a CSA (community supported agriculture) they support local farmers and provide a weekly box of produce either delivered to your house or at a conveniet pick location. It is nice to cook with fresh locally grown produce.

During spring and summer I try and go to the farmer's market at least once a week. She doesn't eat eggs, pork, tomatoes, or fish. Kind of hard with a picky eater (my daughter). I love to cook! I try and cook at least five days a week. Let your creativity flow & make it yours. Sometimes I will add frozen broccoli, or leftover veggies from the night before. Cover reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in rice, lemon, salt, pepper,& broth. Add chicken, leeks & red peppers, saute 5 minutes.

can of artichoke hearts drained & cut, 4 T parmesan cheese.

boneless chicken, cubed 1 leek chopped (I buy them from TJ's they are already cleaned and ready to go) 1/2 jar roasted red peppers, chopped 2 pkg of TJ's frozen rice, cooked 1/4 c fresh lemon juice, salt & pepper, 14oz chicken broth, 14oz. One of our family favorites is Lemon Chicken with Rice & Artichokes 1 p. In the freezer I keep frozen veggies too, broccoli, peas, corn, spinach and Trader Joes organic frozen rice these are so easy to add to soups & pasta's. I also try to have fresh citrus fruits & vegtables including garlic, leeks, potatoes, and carrots. I try to have canned beans, diced tomatoes, artichoke hearts, pasta, lentils, roasted red peppers, olives, chicken broth, tomatoe paste, and coconut milk on hand at all times. I made another appoinment and I can' wait.Įveryday seems so busy, it is so nice to go the the pantry and have a few ingredients that you can through together to make a quick & healthy dinner. She also reccomended several suppliments and suggested I walk more, elevate my legs, after along day and get support stockings. They are so painful after being on my feet all day. I have very painful varicose veins (I worked for several years in food service and thanks to my genes are prone to them). It is a little pricey, but some & hopefully soon, all insurances will recognizing alternative medicine. I had been seeing and feeling some changes, so I decided I would give it a try. At my first prenatal yoga class an acupuncturist spoke to our class about changes that occur in pregnancy that can be helped with acupuncture and herbs, and it was a safe effective way to address these issues. It has been twelve years though and I'm almost 40 now so I'm much wiser and would rather go natural than using modern medicine. The lady who picked up others' slack was fantastic, if you are reading this - you rock! :) However, definitely not coming back.I'm not sure if I had any of these problems in my other pregnancies, or if I just blocked them out. The food was great and came out fast, but the attitudes really reminded me an old school dive bar. As she was moving through the door she also loudly added a great TMI that you shouldn't say in front of the customers. By that time, employee#3 was halfway done with her beer and proceeded leaving the restaurant. We finally placed the order and moved from the bar to a table. She was wonderful and very apologetic that no one took our order or offered water.

Finally, the lady who was helping the other couple came to the rescue. However, she proceeded to pour herself a beer instead and started drinking it behind the bar while chatting with the bartender. Then she told us that she will take our order "in a minute". At some point, a third lady finally noticed us and asked if we were helped. There was also a couple on another side of the restaurant, and another lady was helping them. And no, the place was virtually empty apart from two other customers at the bar and a few more outside. First, the bartender literally ignored us for a while. We stopped for a quick bite and a drink, but it did not go smooth. 2 years ago Great food, but very questionable service and rather a bizzarre experience for the area.
